Necromancer is a Planeswalker Class in Magic: Legends. Planeswalker Classes are the different styles of gameplay. Each class consists of its own unique Abilities, Class Perks, and is capable of equipping passive buffs known as Traits. The Necromancer resonates well with the Black Mana and Black Spells, but players can also use other colors of Spells and equip it to their deck.
The Necromancer is incredibly resourceful and focused on acquiring might however they can. They use the potency of darkness to raise minions from the dead, manipulate the flow of life energy, and make sacrifices in order to benefit their party during combat encounters.
Necromancer Abilities
Abilities are the basic combat skills of a Planeswalker. The abilities of a class are divided into three categories, Primary, Secondary, and Utility abilities which are all executed in the field. As the player increases the character level, they can modify these core abilities by unlocking ability upgrades that modify or adds additional effects to the ability.
Grim Siphon
Lash foes in front of you with your necromantic pendulum, dealing damage plus additional damage over 3 seconds. The damage over time effect also heals for 10% of the damage dealt.
Grave Upheaval
Deal damage to foes in an area around the target foe, then create two 1/1 Skeleton creature tokens, for 30 seconds at that location. Each Skeleton still on the battlefield from a previous use of this ability is replaced by the new one.
Necromantic Aura
Sacrifices any Skeletons from Grave Upheaval to empower an aura that damages nearby enemies for a short time.
Necromancer Perks
Class Perks are passive boosts that are specifically tied to their class. Perks further enhance the stats of the character and boosts the effects of its abilities.
Level 3
Mana Surge
Gain 3 mana over 6 seconds, then draw a spell.
Level 4
Grim Feast
Grim Siphon heals a creature you control with the lowest health percentage for 10% of damage dealt, and the final attack deals additional damage.
Level 6
Death Campaign
Whenever a foe dies while under the effect of the Necrotic Curse, randomly create a 1/1 Skeleton, 1/1 Skeleton Archer, or 2/2 Zombie creature token at its location. If it was a Champion Rank or above, create a 4/4 Zombie Hulk.
Level 10
Three's a Crowd
Grave Upheaval creates an additional 1/1 Skeleton Archer creature token.
Level 15
Siphoning Aura
Necromantic Aura now heals the Necromancer for 10% of the damage dealt.
Level 20
Aether Absorption
Whenever you cast a Sorcery, heal for 5% of your maximum health over 3 seconds.
Level 25
Scavenging Horde
Whenever a creature you control dies, another random creature you control gets +1/+1 for 10 seconds.
Necromancer Traits
Traits are the stronger passive buffs of the various classes of the game. Unlike Class Perks, traits can be equipped by any class, these slottable powers grant a stronger amount of power that greatly enhances the player's experience.
Level 30
Necrotic Burst
Whenever a creature you control dies, it deals 200% of its damage to foes around it over 5 seconds.
Necromancer Starting Spell Cards
These 12 Spells are acquired from completing the tutorial mission, The Spark, as well as doing the Main Quest Line in Tazeem as a Necromancer. Alternatively, players can also acquire this starting deck and it will be added to your library if you unlock this class through your Personal Realm or by purchasing the class from the Magic Legends Store:
