Mind Mage is a Planeswalker Class in Magic: Legends. Planeswalker Classes are the different styles of gameplay. Each class consists of its own unique Abilities, Class Perks, and is capable of equipping passive buffs known as Traits. The Mind Mage resonates well with the Blue Mana and Blue Spells, but players can also use other colors of Spells and equip it to their deck.
The Mind Mage personifies cool intellect. As a planeswalker that focuses on psychic powers, battle enemies from a safe distance, controlling projectiles with telekinetic powers, and lockdown dangerous foes with spells that put them to sleep, or to turn them against their allies.
Mind Mage Abilities
Abilities are the basic combat skills of a Planeswalker. The abilities of a class are divided into three categories, Primary, Secondary, and Utility abilities which are all executed in the field. As the player increases the character level, they can modify these core abilities by unlocking ability upgrades that modify or adds additional effects to the ability.
Mindlash
Blast enemies in front of you with a barrage of energy orbs.
Confound
Deal damage to foes in a cone in front of you. Confuse a random foe that was not killed in this way for 6 seconds, then Stun the rest for 3 seconds.
Illusory Escape
Taunt foes with an illusion of yourself and gain increased movement speed.
Mind Mage Perks
Class Perks are passive boosts that are specifically tied to their class. Perks further enhance the stats of the character and boosts the effects of its abilities.
Level 3
Mana Surge
Gain 3 mana over 6 seconds, then draw a spell.
Level 4
Rend Mind
Mindlash's final strike deals 33% additional damage to enemies hit in the last half of the attack area.
Level 6
Hallucination
Confuse foes around you as long as this power is active.
Level 10
Maddening Thoughts
Confound can confuse an additional target, and the duration of the effect is increased by 2 seconds.
Level 15
Living Illusion
Illusory's Escape's illusion explodes on termination, inflicting damage and Greater Slow to enemies nearby.
Level 20
Crush Mind
When a creature you control with 3 or greater Toughness dies, Disorient foes near the creature for X seconds, where X is equal to the Toughness of that creature
Level 25
Emergency Illusion
Falling below 25% health will cause you to summon a 0/6 Illusion that taunts when it enters the battlefield.
Mind Mage Traits
Traits are the stronger passive buffs of the various classes of the game. Unlike Class Perks, traits can be equipped by any class, these slottable powers grant a stronger amount of power that greatly enhances the player's experience.
Level 30
Psychic Prowess
Casting non-creature spells grants +1/+1 to a random creature you control for 10 seconds.
Mind Mage Starting Spell Cards
These 12 Spells are acquired from completing the tutorial mission, The Spark, as well as doing the Main Quest Line in Tazeem as a Mind Mage. Alternatively, players can also acquire this starting deck and it will be added to your library if you unlock this class through your Personal Realm or by purchasing the class from the Magic Legends Store:
